Old Ivory Roll recalls a roll of colour negative that sat in a drawer for years before it was developed and printed. Built on Classic Negative, it pairs a warm, ivory-to-gold white balance with a gentle lean towards yellow-green, so highlights glow like an aged print rather than a fresh file. Contrast is deliberately strong: brighter tones lift and open while shadows fall away into rich, heavy blacks. Slightly restrained colour keeps the warmth tasteful, and softened micro-contrast plus large, pronounced grain give surfaces a tactile, analogue feel. It is at its best on grey, overcast city days and in low evening light, where muted streets gain warmth, depth and a sense of memory. Busy urban scenes with signage, weathered walls and passing figures suit it especially well.

Old Ivory Roll suits overcast streets, urban walks and evening light, where its warm cast and heavy grain lend flat scenes some mood. Keep it away from studio portraits and clean landscape work: the pronounced grain and ivory-gold tint can feel heavy-handed when you need neutral colour or fine detail.
